Our team is composed of a Registered Dietician, Healthcare Specialist, a Business Development Manager, a Sales Manager, and Inside Sales customer service representatives that service the majority of Sysco North Dakota’s healthcare customers. Sysco North Dakota is also supported by four registered dietitians from Sysco Minnesota. This team has extensive background and work experience in the healthcare industry and can help provide our healthcare customers the products, services, and assistance they need.

INGENIUM—MAX is Sysco’s comprehensive menu software system available to committed customers at a VIP price. The program is Windows-based and five modules that can be purchases separately or together-Resident Care Plans, Menus, Production, Assessment, and Costing.
Theme Day/Activity Packets featuring holiday, ethnic and special event menus are available upon request.
Menu Recommendations, Recipes, and Nutritional Information is available upon request from Sysco’s Healthcare Support specialists.
*Internet and Software Programs
TraySYS is a windows-based tray card program that allows you to input resident likes and dislikes, special needs, track weight information, and generate resident and tally reports. The program is available for a one-time licensing fee.
NetRecipe is an Internet based program that precisely scales recipes on demand utilizing an extensive database of 11,000 recipes. Can be used as part of the IMPAC Menu Program or purchase it as a stand alone program.
eSysco is an order entry system that allows flexibility for the foodservice director to place orders at their leisure. Both systems have the capability to customize order guides for each order day and for staple items to facilitate efficiency in placing orders.
eNutrition is a Web based interactive tool that provides product nutrient information, recipe printing and nutritional analysis. It is designed so it can be used across all types of food service operations.
*Cost Containment Services
Cost Containment Consulting is available to assist managers in establishing monitoring systems for food and labor issues. Focus areas include menu analysis, special event/activity cost review, supplement/nourishment evaluation, cost-effective product selection, production/serving initiatives to reduce waste, and labor and productivity analysis.
Benchmarking programs have been designed to assist facility managers in establishing and monitoring food and labor costs. These are individualized based on specific facility details and can be provided on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis depending on facility needs. Recommendations for more cost-effective items and/or convenience items can be provided.
*Healthcare Newsletter
The Healthcare Connection is a quarterly newsletter developed by the Sysco Healthcare team to keep customers on the cutting edge of the foodservice and healthcare industry. Featured articles include industry trends, regulatory updates, clinical information, new products at Sysco, food safety information, an events calendar, cost containment suggestions, and continuing education opportunities.
Product Specialty Guides are specifically developed to provide the customer with ease in identifying all options of a specific product category.
*In-Service Education, Employee Training, and Continuing Education
An In-service Library of thirty minute education programs is available including lesson plans, scripts, handouts, and video tapes. Topics include sanitation practices, stress management, resident sensitivity, problem solving, customer and customer services.
A complete Library of Videos is available to healthcare facilities on a loaner basis. Videos included are the complete ServSafe series, a HACCP series, product videos, dining enhancement videos, and many nursing care related videos.
Education Interface is an Internet based training program to assist you in new employee orientation and on-going training of current employees. This program is available for dietary personnel, nursing assistants, maintenance and housekeeping staff for a small per pupil fee.
Healthcare Seminars with approved CEU’s for Dietary Managers, Registered Dietetic Technicians, and Registered Dietitians, are offered at Sysco North Dakota on a periodic basis. Sysco North Dakota and Sysco Minnesota sponsor and support programs offered by allied groups such as MDA, NDDA, MNDMA, MHHA, Care Providers, NDLTCA.
Sysco North Dakota’s
Food and Equipment Shows provide customers with opportunities for cost savings on many products. Many new products stocked at Sysco North Dakota are also available for sampling.
